Coat of arms from the knighthood diploma of franz joseph i (emperor of austria 1848-1916) for dr. Sigmund von bernstein. Issued in vienna, march 11, 1879, with the emperor's own signature, countersignature by the minister of the interior, count eduard taaffe. Parchment libel (format 38 x 28. 5 cm), 8 pages, partially polychrome illuminated calligraphy on engraved template, polychrome coat of arms drawing signed "carl boess". Violet-red velvet cover, partially embossed, with gold-colored embossed double-headed eagle coat of arms, with attached seal capsule in gilded bronze (with imperial coat of arms on the capsule lid), with the "great majesty seal" of emperor franz joseph i in red sealing wax. Knighthood diploma in a metal storage box. Date: 1879.
