Alphonse lévy, also known under the pseudonym saïd, born in marmoutier (bas-rhin) on january 8, 1843, died in algiers on february 2, 1918, is a french painter, illustrator and caricaturist. He is known for depicting the life of the jewish community in alsace and algeria. Date: 1895.
