Attempt to reconstruct a panel painting by rogier van der weyden using a drawing from the middle of the 15th century and three picture fragments by rogier van der weyden. See stephan kemperdick, jochen sander (eds. ): the master of flémalle and rogier van der weyden: an exhibition at the städel museum, frankfurt am main, [21. 11. 2008 to 22. 2. 2009] and the gemäldegalerie of the staatliche museen zu berlin (20. 3. 2009 to 21. 6. 2009). Ostfildern: hatje cantz verl. And frankfurt am main: städel museum, 2008, p. 334 ff. The basis is a pen drawing on paper in the national museum in stockholm (dimensions: 16. 6 x 23 cm). Three fragments can be added to it, but unfortunately they only somewhat coincide in the area of the folds of the red cloak and john's left foot. Therefore, the proportions of the figures to each other are only partially correct.
