Morlaix rue Noble

Morlaix rue Noble

Morlaix: rue noble (drawing by auguste mayer published in 1845-1846). It was in this street that many rich merchants of morlaix had built their houses, characterized by three corbelled floors and, in the corners, sculpted consoles representing saints, like here, on the first floor, saint barbara, recognizable by her tower. The drawing represents no. 13 of this street, a house destroyed shortly after this drawing was made. This is the current rue du mur.
