Resurrección de Santa Leocadia Juan de Roelas Hospital del Niño Madrid, 1620

Resurrección de Santa Leocadia Juan de Roelas Hospital del Niño Madrid, 1620

The canvas is believed to have been commissioned by roelas from antonio de loaiza. It is also believed given the dedication of the typically toledo canvas and its origin as part of the collection of the duchess of santoña, maría del carmen hernández y espinosa de los monteros, which upon her death she donated to the hospital (founded by herself in 1877). Date: 1620.
