Etching of the seal of the essex county ornithological club of massachusetts, founded in 1916. Benson was a charter member of the organization and served as its president for the first 18 years of its existence. This copy of the etching is incribed to naturalist and archaeologist edward sylvester morse, benson's friend and another charter member of the ecoc. Date: 1916. Medium: etching print.
