Pharaoh's Daughter Discovers Moses in the Rush Basket, Ferdinand Bol, between 1660 and 1663

By the side of the water the daughter of pharoah accompanied by her companions is about to go bathing. Two women pull the basket out of the water. Part of five paintings that served as wall hangings of the achterzaal (back room) of nieuwegracht 6 in utrecht. Of the sixth wall hanging by jan van bijlert only a fragment remained, now in the centraal museum in utrecht. Object Type: painting. Genre: religious art. Date: between 1660 and 1663.
