Friar josé camilo henríquez gonzález (valdivia, chile, july 20, 1769 - santiago, chile, march 16, 1825) was a priest, writer, politician and hero of the independence of chile. 1 he was also one of the most important writers of the first newspapers in south america and wrote several essays, in particular the proclamation of quirino lemáchez, which promoted chilean independence and social freedom.
