Obverse: carolus: v: -: rom: imper: crowned bust to the right of charles v with a youthful face, crowned, armored and wearing the collar of the order of the golden fleece. The effigy is framed by 14 crowned shields representing the arms of castile, aragon, leon, catalonia, the two sicilies, naples, jerusalem, seville, new castile, galicia, valencia, toledo, granada and navarre, of and by the motto of the emperor plvs vltr with the columns of hercules and the lighter of burgundy. Location: national museum of history and art, luxembourg, cabinet of medals, inventory number: 2000-099/001. Date: 1521.
