The effigy is framed by 14 crowned shields representing the arms of castile, aragon, leon, catalonia, the two sicilies, naples, jerusalem, seville, new castile, galicia, valencia, toledo, granada and navarre, of and by the motto of the emperor plvs vltr with the columns of hercules and the lighter of burgundy.
