hôtel carnavalet, 23 rue de sévigné, 3rd arrondissement. Architectural view of the facade of the south wing entering the main courtyard. The south wing is formed in its lower part by the old loggia from the 16th century, the arcades of which, decorated with masks of fauns, were closed by françois mansart in the 17th century. He built the upper floor, the windows of which are separated by four large bas-relief figures of unknown author, personifying the elements. Mode of acquisition: legacy
