Sketches of figures at lord lovat's trial, 1747; from left to right, man standing to right (possibly one of the 'lord high steward's gentleman), a peer in robes seen from behind, two studies of lord hardwicke in robes, three studies of lord lovat flanked by the lieutenant of the tower on r, and the gentleman jailer with the axe on r, with yeomen and heralds brush drawings in grey wash, touched with pen and ink.
