Pierre-paul prud'hon (1758–1823) after adrien-jean-baptiste mussat called jolly (1772–1839): jeanne-charlotte schroeder called saint-aubin (1764–1850) as "lisbeth", 1801. The eponymous drame lyrique by andré-ernest-modeste grétry (1741–1813) and edmond-guillaume-françois de favières (1755–1837) was premiered in 1797. The plot, which centers on the idyllic poet salomon gessner (1730–1788), takes place in the zurich area. Date: 1801.
