Dearest parents! i received a letter from you from pulawy yesterday! i was very happy about it; the letter was dated 9. 1. The post probably won’t take any longer to get here than to pulowy! yes, now you can see how good it is that you didn’t go to pulawy! so, thank god things don’t seem to be so bad with karl! yes, it will be the same for me. First to braunschweig as a replacement and then on vacation! when i’ll get away from here is still undecided! yes, aunt mitzi also wrote to me in pulawy, but unfortunately i didn’t get a chance to reply.
