Children playing and women arranging flowers in a room adjacent to a garden with blooming chrysanthemums; top left and upside down below the entire scene, poems by various poets. Surimono published on the occasion of the adoption of the poet's name hokusōan, the name on the board hung by the third woman in the performance. The surimono is folded in half horizontally across the middle, so that the poems form the back of the representation.
