Baron zsigmond kemény of magyargyerőmonostori (alvinc, june 12, 1814 – pusztakamárás, december 22, 1875) hungarian writer, publicist, politician. Next to mór jókai, he is the greatest figure in hungarian romantic fiction. From 1867 to 1876, he was the second president of the kisfaludy society. When his health declined, in 1874, he moved his apartment to pusztakamaras, where he could receive the most careful brotherly care near his sweet brother jános. After a long suffering, death came here on december 22, 1875, in the 59th year of his life. Date: 1882.
