Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 222, March 1917

222. Tombstone with a cross from the cemetery of the village. Kilifarevo, tarnovsko. The cross is four-winged, its side wings are short, the upper one is longer, and the lower one is the longest; all are expanded at their ends; it is carved 2 cm deep into an undivided slab of gray sandstone. Tiles are driven vertically in front of the slab, forming a box for candles and a lamp. Dimensions: on the plate - 65x55x8 cm; on the waist - 18x15 cm; wingspan 3 cm. It was made a few years before the russian-turkish war. Sketched in march 1917. (t. 3, obr. 40. ). Date: March 1917.
