Among buildings beautiful with colour and rich with mosaic the moors buy and sell every con-ceivable thing that man's mind can desire from nails to mules, from candles to slaves. Eggs in plenty fetch from twopence to threepence a dozen, which is a good price in morocco, and there is sold much native butter which needs careful straining before it can be eaten.
