View taken between the rear and the large ditch of the enclosure being demolished. Courtyard and garden, arcades with terrace, central pavilion, wing, medieval mansions or with scaffolding. Views of the bell towers and pinnacles of the saint-honoré, saint-thomas and nicolas churches, roofs of the medieval and period louvre. Genre scenes: workers, lumberjacks, horses, trees.
