Giuseppe Canella-Carrera San Jerónimo-1823, Giuseppe Canella, 1825

It is not the carrera de san jerónimo, as the heading says, but rather its famous one: "view of paseo del prado and calle de atocha", in madrid (spain), in 1825. On the right you can see the fountain of the artichoke, in neoclassical style, currently located in the retiro and on the left the puerta de atocha (already demolished). Date: 1825. Medium: oil on metal. Collection: Museo de Historia de Madrid.
