Lugt suppl. 432 d) inventory number - bottom right, in black ink: "d. 12119" inscription - handwritten inscriptions in pencil on the passe-partout, top left: "notre-dame (bridge) and neighborhood around 1690" and bottom center: "this sketch (or tracing drawn from an old drawing) represents, very probably, this portion of old paris as it existed towards the end of the 17th century. This series of houses inhabited by tanners formed, on the side opposite the seine, one of the rows from the rue de la pelleterie, on the left, we see, at right angles, two arches of the notre-dame bridge. Iconographic description: old houses located between the au change and notre-dame bridges replaced by the quai aux fleurs (4th-5th arrondissement). We see on the left, set back at right angles, two arches of the notre-dame bridge and old houses institution: carnavalet museum, history of paris inventory number: d. 12119. Date: Entre 1801 et 1900.
