Camiers road image: a view along a straight section of the camiers road in northern france, with telegraph poles lining both sides of the road. There is a line of what appear to be barrels or tree trunks on the right side of the road, and there are parts of a military training camp on the right, including sandbags hanging from wooden frames used for bayonet practice. Sandy hills line the horizon on the right and the sea of the english channel is visible in the distance on the left. Date: (First World War).
