Oil painting painted in 1889 by the artist wilhelm geissler, which according to the original uploader on flickr ("gandalf's gallery") was also exhibited in 1889 at the crystal palace in london and was awarded the bronze medal. The medal itself is said to have been made by the artist george gammon adams, the same medalist who also designed the medal for the opening of the crystal palace in 1854.
