Graphite on light card, 320 x 410 mm. This drawing of the german tall ship 'pamir' was hidden beneath a print of an engraving of j m w turner's 'the old temeraire'. There is some letterpress visible on the reverse side of the card the drawing is on and although it's glued to the backing board for the frame the year 186? is clearly visible on one corner.
