The goddess diana wears a crown with her insignia of a half moon and is depicted in outdoor setting with her spear loosely leaning against her right arm. Trees and bushes fill the upper left side of the drawing and there is a line across the middle of the background to her right, possibly indicating a horizon line over water. Date: early 17th century. Dimensions: 11.8 × 17.1 cm (4 5/8 × 6 3/4 in.). Medium: paper, pen and bistre. Collection: Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
