In the cellar of an inn, a man with a grotesque face and a young woman wearing a shawl over her head, engaging in intercourse against a stack of three beer barrels on a low table, from the tap of the first of which beer pours into a jug on the floor; a hat on top of one of the barrels at left; window above at right, lamp hanging from the ceiling at left; after rowlandson.
