Charleville — Belvédère ou Tour Lolot — recto-verso

Text at the bottom of the map: this tower, named after the owner who built it, is most often called a "belvedere". It overcomes the coast called by its former name "mount olympus", more modestly the lolot coast and the bourgon coast. It is a nice destination for a walk and the panoramic view that the eye discovers there is the just reward for the fatigue one experiences climbing up there. The belvedere tower was built in 1848, on mount olympus in montcy-saint-pierre by monsieur lolot, ironmaster. This village merged in 1966 with mézières; charleville; étion and mohon. See: http://www.
