Berndt lindholm's painting of a steamship and mail boats in the winter archipelago of turku or åland. The ship may have been the expressen that operated between hanko and sweden. The painting was bought in 1876 from the st. Petersburg art academy's exhibition on the order of emperor alexander ii to the helsinki imperial palace (now the presidential palace), where it is still located. Object Type: painting. Date: 1875.
