Intermediary (or finished) drawing for pl 9 of "industry and idleness" (1747), "the idle 'prentice betray'd by his whore, & taken in a night cellar with his accomplice"; in centre, idle and accomplice, to left grenadier embracing woman, and in front man pushing corpse through trap-door; to right whore receiving bribe from magistrate, with other figures black chalk, heightened with white, on blue paper, indented for transfer.
