With underlying text from c. 1940: "some information regarding the implementation: city hall, built 1914-1920; post office 1915-1923; coolsingel boulevard, constructed 1919-1920; meent breakthrough 1929; stock exchange building, earthworks started spring 1935; demolition of the academy and the like summer 1935; zeevischmarkt building demolished 1933.
