Gentile da fabriano, enthroned mary with the child, saint nicholas of bari, saint catherine of alexandria and a donor, around 1400/10, altarpiece on poplar wood, 133. 4 x 115 cm, gemäldegalerie berlin (inv. 1130). On a fragment of the original frame, lost since 1945, the picture was inscribed: "gentilis de fabriano opus (rather: pinsit?)".
