Hms 'canada'
inscribed by the artist, 'canada', lower right, this is a reasonably accurate starboard broadside study of the battleship 'canada' (1913), as fitted in 1918 with an enlarged control top and aircraft platforms on b and x turrets. It is a sunset view of the ship in steam but either stationary or barely moving off a low and unidentifiable coastline. Date: circa 1918. Dimensions: 253 mm x 354 mm. Collection: Fine art.
