Крестный ход на место закладки собора Александра Невского

The religious procession to the site of the foundation of the alexander nevsky cathedral in memory of the liberation of the peasants on september 19, 1904 (old style). The scene is strastnaya, now pushkinskaya, square, view to the center along tverskaya. The cathedral itself was founded (and never completed) on what was then the distant outskirts, on miusskaya square. Date: 2 October 1904 (19 September 1904 in Julian calendar).
