Trade card j. C. Konig & ebhardt hanover germany, about 1880. English written side with the front and backside of the first 1874-76 new built industriel buildings at schlosswender strasse. In this views there is still nothing to see of the later here alongside guided horse trams. In the backside you see the welfenschloss respectively the skyline of the old inner city of hanover. From the numerous shown medals you see in the upper left corner the eldest one from the trade association of the kingdom of hanover from the year 1849 (unfortunately in this resolution only unclearely recognizable). Already about 1880 the enterprise advertised its 3 business divisions account book manufactors, printers and lithographers and recommended itself internationally with this multicolored trade card for the printing of company shares, other bonds and banknotes. In the usa postcards and chromolithographies of raphael tuck of sons are well known which are printed here in hanover. Date: circa 1880.
