It is a painting found in naples in the capodimonte museum, part of the farnese collection. Due to the incorrect attribution to guido reni, the work was transferred in 1798 to palermo, and in 1925 to montecitorio in rome. Through a classical composition, the episode of the meeting of ulysses and nausicaa from the sixth book of the odyssey is illustrated almost verbatim. Object Type: painting.
