In the foreground, a semicircular courtyard; three figures advance towards the entrance to the castle (a gardener, a soldier on horseback, a pack leader). A paved path leads to the main entrance bordered by two pavilions in front of which stand two mounted guards facing each other. In the background, a large door leads to the main courtyard.
