Scene from the kabuki play 'yoshibe', showing ume-no-yoshibe, with a drawn sword (left) threatening two figures; the apprentice nagawaka (chokichi), who is on his knees (centre), and ku-ome, the wife of yoshibei, who is standing, a scroll at her feet (right), at night, in a strong wind with papers flying.
