Viii. 42. My dear mum! today i received your lovely package and letter with much joy and gratitude. The thing with dad's watch has now been sorted out, as have the pictures. Yes, the one from mrs niederhofer is also very sad, she was still as sprightly as i was at home. I can imagine that you now have big ramesuri [???] at home. Hopefully you'll manage it soon so you can have more peace and quiet after work. Now an important question: did you really take the 30 rm from my money? please don't take anything from yourself! i wouldn't have had the money sent to me, but here we have something similar to our prater. If you go there a few times, the pay is soon gone. I want to make the most of my time here.
