Patinated bronze group with brown-green patina representing "the triumphant victory" or "the awakening of the genius" by charles vital-cornu. The reliefs are emphasized by a brown-green patina. The sculpture is signed vital cornu on the terrace, and carries the foundry mark "société des bronzes de paris". Original cartouche with the inscription: réveil du génie/salon des beaux-arts.
