Marie-antoinette, head in profile to the left, in a medallion decorated with palms resting on a base where we read: "volume ii", and surrounded by genii, one of whom lifts the drapery which hid the portrait of the queen, the other holds out a crown to a seated woman personifying the arts, in the process of copying this portrait.
