So-called portrait of louis, grand dauphin (1661-1711), but is probably a depiction of james francis edward stuart, prince of wales (1688-1766) identification proposed by user ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with a portrait of james ii and his family (1694) by pierre mignard, located in the royal collection (see image below).
