Horizontal views of a boat with two masts shown from the stern, at anchor, obliquely against a background of a shore with a house, and straight; of the shaft of a device having a ring which is swathed with a clother and a rope; and of graphite scratching at top left. Verso: vertical views of a sailing ship before a mountain or an iceberg at top; two concentric semicircles in second row; and a bird in the third row; and notations in the fifth row. Date: 1850–51.
