description:
a large wooden base, parallelepiped in shape, supports a "term" with a grimacing face, a hanging tongue, bulging eyes and a widely flat nose. Four large scrolls at the forehead correspond to the eyebrows. Two large deer antlers still bear in places a fine decoration in light relief of stylized scrollwork. The whole was formerly painted. Red highlights remain on the wood and the tongue. They draw on the basis of vermiculated patterns still visible in places. Acquisition method: manual donation
