Horizontally oriented composition depicting the theme of the sacrament of repentance through confession. In the center is a baroque confessional with a priest, shot to the right, confessing a kneeling woman. Behind her, from behind the confessional, comes the devil depicted in the form of a winged demon. In the left part of the composition, a young man is captured with a pious gesture and a gaze fixed on the heavens. An angel stands behind him. The whole story takes place in a relatively neutral environment of the interior of the church. In the lower part there is an inscription in latin and italian: sacramentum poenitentia/ i v sacramento la penitentia. Date: 1800.
