Aspertini sketch-book (so-called london i): 10th opening left (1898,1123. 3(10) verso) and right-hand page (1898,1123. 3(11) recto) with barbarian captives brought before an emperor (upper part of opening) and barbarians greeting the emperor trajan mounted on a horse (lower part of opening) c. 1535 pen and brown ink, brown wash, heightened with white, on vellum prepared with a grey wash.
