Plate 2, fight between elephants and snakes; in the foreground, to left, a snake watches an elephant approach from the branch of a tree; to right, the snake attacks the elephant, attaching itself to the trunk; beyond, dwarfs cut up both the elephant and the snake, both of which died during the fight, and carry off the pieces engraving.
