Komatsu Shigemori, an example from the Story of Heiki, Yashima Gakutei, between 1820 and 1825
In a niche (tokonoma) sits taira no kiyomori (1118-1181), in front of him sits his son shigemori (1138-1179). The son was more loyal to the emperor than his own father. The story of heiki tells about the battle between the taira and minaoto families. With one poem.
