Puggaardsgade i 1890'erne, Peter Tom-Petersen

Chronicle vestkysten 6 october 1939 by journalist k. H. Rosenstand tom petersen's funny painting from puggaardsgade in the nineties "can you make me laugh, but you mustn't tickle me", is the name of the picture with a view to the joking group of children in the foreground. Allers familie-journal acquired the picture and had it reproduced and sent out in several editions, of which the first print is now an often sought-after rarity, not least among old ripensians. According to information from the ribe local archive, the children in the paintings are: the boy with the dog perle is frederik lerche with a sister. The three girls are from left, marie engelbrecht, puggaardsgade 13, karoline thomsen and karen lauridsen. Back: breeder lorents andreasen, bispegade 29 and sitting in the door, maria mortensen.
