Descent towards the bank. Characters. Historical commentary: the wooden bridge was built around 1625-1627 and rebuilt in 1643. The tip of île saint-louis remained empty for a long time. The houses seen here are those that elisabeth conin, widow of edouard mouquet, had built on the land she bought in 1646.
