How much worse it could have been! if we have to stay in this position until the war is over, i am happy to put up with it. The soot hardly shoots at all. The dirt and mud is horrible, but that too shall pass. We have a particularly “beautiful” view when we step out of our bunker; about 60 m in front of us, the latrine is right there in the field with its back to us; what laughter there is when the “moons” shine over us! 5 meters away lies a dead soot, only the uniform and bones are left, but that can't bother us! so we live very peaceful days! you received the pictures, didn't you? how do you like them? i'm sending two more today, they are quite nice but not clear. It was only a cheap camera for 1. 50 rm. The pictures are of us supposed to form a raiding party and lying in finnish tents. I hope you like them.
