Farman by the Mughal ruler Jahangir (Asnad.org, 2), 12 October 1612

Jahangir gives his permission to the european padris for building a church in ahmadabad, gujarat. The date given in the farman is: "(dated) the 20th of the month of mihr of the divine year, 7th (of the emperor's reign)". Date: 12 October 1612.
